Amazon Echo - What to expect from "Alexa"?

Hey there fellows, how you doing! I am fine thanks for asking.

You would probably be thinking that who am I talking, well it’s my new buddy “Alexa”. Yep, that’s right!

The world is stormed by the Voice Controlled Technology. It is like yesterday when the Siri came to exist. But did you know amazon had been developing Echo devices since 2010.

Everyone seems to love this new technology and quite fun actually when there is assistant for helping you in every situation. Well, it’s the human nature, I guess so!

The good news is for all those who couldn’t afford to buy the iphone, well I am also one of those. So, don’t worry guys I can feel you pain. But with amazon’s echo you can have your own “Virtual Assistant”.  This device responds to the name “Alexa”, which is wake word.

Amazon has recently launched second-generation echo dot with some new features. The Echo Buttons can be used while playing games on Echo devices. And the Echo Connect which allowing the Echo to make voice calls through your home phone number.

What can Alexa do for you?

• Play Music: Just ask for a song, artist, or genre from your favorite music services like Amazon Prime Music, Saavn, and TuneIn. Using multi-room music, you can even play music across multiple Echo devices at the same time.

• Make Calls : With seven microphones, beam-forming technology, and noise cancellation, Echo hears you from any direction-even in noisy environments or while playing music. Call or message anyone hands-free who also has an Echo device or the Alexa App. Simply ask "Alexa, how do I set up calling?" to get started.

• SmartHome : Controls lights, plugs, and more with compatible connected devices from Philips, Syska, TP-Link and Oakter.

• Order Food Online : Just ask Alexa to order food from Zomato, request a ride from Ola, book a carpenter from Urbanclap, and more.

• Check weather, news and set alarms.

Well if you are planning to take this home, I am not gonna stop you but still there some flaws in it. Like sometimes it gets confused in the similar words like or sometimes it will give a weird response to basic questions. 

But, to get the feel of an emperor then go for it. I think at this cost it really worth it!!!
